How does booking and payment work?
Fill in your property details to get an instant price, add a few photos of the areas to be cleaned, then pay a 50% deposit securely by card or PayPal. Your booking is confirmed the moment the deposit is paid, and we finalize your cleaning professional and appointment details within 2 hours. The remaining balance is due when the clean is complete, payable by Interac e-transfer to myhousecleanersca@hotmail.com.
Why do you need photos of my home?
So the price you see is the price that stands. Photos of the areas to be cleaned let us confirm the size and condition of the job before anyone is sent out — which is how we avoid the two things people hate most: a quote that changes at the door, or a professional arriving without the right time set aside. Two photos is enough; five is the maximum.
They are used for that purpose only, shared solely with the professional assigned to your booking, never published or used in advertising, and deleted automatically after 45 days. Full detail is in our Privacy, Cookies & Analytics Policy.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes — the deposit is fully refunded if you cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours forfeit the deposit, since that time was reserved for you. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Are the cleaning professionals background-checked and insured?
Yes. Every independent professional in our network completes a criminal background check, reference verification, proof of $1M liability insurance, and a supervised trial clean before their first assignment. They operate their own business — we handle the vetting and coordination so you don't have to.
How do the recurring discounts work?
Weekly (20%), bi-weekly (15%), and monthly (10%) discounts apply from your second recurring cleaning onward, while your schedule stays active. Today's cleaning is always priced at the regular rate — so the discount rewards genuine recurring clients.
How should I prepare for my cleaning?
To protect your belongings and help your pro focus on a great clean, please move or secure any heavy, fragile, or valuable items beforehand — our professionals don't move heavy furniture or appliances, so anything left in place may not be cleaned behind or underneath.
